Letni, formerly known as Letni Chamski Podryw, is an extraordinary pop-rap duo whose story began in 2009 thanks to two talented musicians: Maciej Piotrowski, known as “Canton,” and Dawid Antonkiewicz, known as “Anton.” Their work stands out for its energetic beats, bold lyrics, and a unique style that has earned recognition among fans of pop and hip-hop music.

The beginnings of the band

Subsequent releases, such as the mini-album “Fabryka kiślu” (2010) and the debut full-length album “Oranżada, koleżanki, petardy” (2011), solidified the band’s position on the Polish music scene. The album “Oranżada, koleżanki, petardy” even featured a guest appearance by Marta “Mandaryna” Wiśniewska.

The year 2012 brought another studio album, “Pamiętniki z wakacji,” as well as participation in the popular TV show “Must Be the Music. Tylko muzyka,” where they performed their hit “Czinkłaczento.” Although they did not advance to the next stage, their public recognition increased significantly.

The following years saw further development of the band, including the release of the track “Symetryczno-erotyczna” in 2013 and the parody of Sarsa’s song “Naucz mnie,” titled “Pomidorowa,” in 2015. Despite a brief break from recording, the duo returned with new ideas, using streaming platforms to create albums such as “Streamówka” and “Swagabunda.”

In 2020, they released the song “Kto jest w domu,” which humorously referred to the COVID-19 pandemic. Their next album, “Swagabunda 2.0,” was announced for October 2020, and in 2021 the band embarked on the “Swagabunda Tour.”

The band’s latest innovation was the use of live streaming to create the album “Parodiówka” in 2023. The final concert took place at the RabbitHole club in Kielce, and the albums were available in limited quantities exclusively for fans.
