Ignacy Błażejowski, or simply – Ignacy

Ignacy is a rising star of the Polish music scene. Although often compared to Dawid Podsiadło or Ralph Kamiński, he doesn’t try to replicate their style – he’s one of a kind. His hit song “Czekam na znak” won the hearts of Polish people and charted well both on streaming services and in radio stations.

Ignacy Błażejowski – who is he?

The artist began his singing career when he was just 7 years old. The public got to know him when he was 12, thanks to his appearance in the second season of the talent show “Mali Giganci”. In the show he sang with Julia Błaszczyk, another talented child singer and they were praised by the jury for their incredible and mature performances.
Ignacy’s experience with television didn’t end there – later he participated in the 11^th season of “The Voice of Poland”, where he was mentored by Edyta Górniak. At the age of 16 he was the show’s youngest participant. Unfortunately, he was eliminated just before the final, which disappointed the viewers. However, his appearance in the show gave him a chance to boost his career. Ignacy is constantly growing his singing abilities and learning about music – he graduated from I.J. Paderewski music school in Krosno (where he learned to play the piano) and currently is a student of The Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, where he majors in jazz vocal performance.

A sign from the universe

The 20-year-old singer is pursuing his passions and, quite successfully, developing his career. Ignacy writes and composes his own songs. In 2021 roku he signed a contract with a label and released his first few songs a year later: “Czekam na znak” (the most popular one), “To, co mam”, “Dream”, “Lullaby”, and a cover of a viral oldie – “Running Up That Hill”. In 2023 Ignacy released another single titled “Samoloty”.

Ignacy’s future

Ignacy Błażejowski is a young and ambitious singer, who’s aware of his abilities and talent. His sensitivity and maturity truly impress the listeners. Despite frequent comparisons to senior artists, Ignacy’s music has a unique touch which can win anyone’s heart. He has what it takes to be successful, not as the next Podsiadło, but as Ignacy – a boy from Krosno who loves music. Despite his young age, many doors have already opened for him and a great success awaits.
